Sigh...
Today is my baby girl’s last day of elementary school. It seems like just last year that I was crying in my car after dropping her off for her first day of kindergarten! Now she’ll be a 5th grader… wow.

2 Year Anniversary of Joplin Tornado, Facing the...
Here it is 2 years from Joplin’s EF-5 tornado, a day that Southwest Missourians will never forget. Driving through the streets soon after the storm, it was truly a wonder that the death toll wasn’t much higher than it was. It was complete devastation. Take that global warming!
I had to scrape 3 inches of snow off my windshield this morning. In extreme southern Missouri. In May. 2 days ago it was 85 degrees.

Plexiglas Just Doesn't Cut It.
If you’re an art journaler or mixed media artist (among others), I’m sure you’ve heard about Gelli Plates for monoprinting. I rolled my eyes and went to buy some clear acrylic glassy stuff, which I was sure would work just as well and for only a couple of bucks at Lowe’s. Well… I did end up getting some neat prints, but the surface doesn’t take paint as well or...

Bleh
I hate it when I follow someone on Tumblr who looks like they post interesting stuff, but then they end up posting stupid crap like nip slips or obsessive celebrity fan GIFs.
